I created the bar stool by creating a cylinder and adding edge loops and scaling them in. I did the same for the supports between each leg and rotated each 90 degrees. The legs were also rotated in toward the center of the base of the chair. I created the base of the chair using a cube with edge loops added to each side and scaled in the outer edges to round out the corners. I duplicated the base and scaled it down the create the cushion. The back bars were made using the same technique as the legs of the stool and were duplicated and rotated along the back of the base of the stool. The back of the chair was made using a cube. The left and right faces were scaled down and the back was translated to contour the back using edge loops. The stool was UV unwrapped using the cylinder tool to unwrap the legs, supports, and back bars. The back of the chair, base, and cushion were unwrapped using the best planar tool. The UVs were laid out using the layout tool. The soften edges tool was also used to minimize extra polys while still smoothing out the edge.
